Disappointing: Metal thickness NOT as advertised, easily scratches, no brace rodThis review is for the GoCampDirect Raised Garden Bed – 2PCS 4×2×1FT Outdoor Galvanized Planter Boxes | Heavy Duty Garden Beds Outdoor with Rubber Edging | Steel Garden Box for for Growing Vegetables, Flowers, Herbs (Colour grey)I purchased these two planters to add to my ever growing garden. I have purchased a few of these planters from different manufacturers (or maybe better to say vendors) on Amazon and via other store fronts. They came packed well and arrived in perfect shape. I was impressed with the look of the pieces as they sat in the box. I removed the plastic container that had the bolts and wing nuts in them to discover it was broken. No biggie, just some cheap plastic. As I removed the pieces of the planters I quickly discovered that the metal is not very thick. The pictures in the description would lead one to believe the metals was .60mm thick…The instructions are a 9/10 for easiness to follow. The metal pieces all have a plastic film on them for protection and it’s better to remove this before assembly. The edges are well made and are less sharp than other units I have put together. There is a part of white cotton gloves included. Be careful as the corners are clipped to round them off but the clippings are still in the packing and one could easily get stuck with a piece as they are very small and sharp. The wing nuts make assembly easy and the only tool you need is the screwdriver provided. That said, if you have a battery operated driver with a torque setting, that would make assembly even faster. The rubber trim for the edge is top notch.As mentioned above, the description photos would lead one to believe that the thickness of the corrugated metal is 0.60mm. It is, however, NOT that thick. I measured two panels (see pics) and I got a 0.39mm and a 0.41mm. This is very disappointing and in my opinion their description is misleading.Because of the flimsy metal the planters have bulged a bit in the middle when filled with soil. A centre brace rod would have illuminated this problem.The grey panels scratch with the slightest touch. I noticed a few scratches as I was assembling. To test the durability I ran my fingernail across one of the sheets and it scratched! Buyer beware of this.I will not be buying anymore products from GoCampDirect. There are many options to choose from for suppliers here on Amazon… now its just weeding the cheap and misleading products out and finding the good deals for quality planters as I still have plans to purchase about thirty more of these for my property.

I am giving it 4 stars because the product is just as shown on Amazon , and arrived on time . Assembly is not difficult , however several wing nut did not thread to bolt – luckily there were spares … however a couple more spares would be safer . The one I chose is wood grain and it looks exactly as in amazon display . I would recommend this product .
