Mega Holz Premium Cold Frame 116 x 76 x 30 cm, Made of European Larch with Hinged Lid, Weatherproof, Polycarbonate Window, Raised Bed Attachment Made of Wood, Compatible with Raised Bed, for Garden, Balcony and Patio

With a cold frame, you can advance the harvest of fresh products. As early as February you start sowing and planting cress, radish, kohlrabi and other spring vegetables. But even in summer, the cold frame can be used for plants requiring heat. In autumn, a wide range of products such as field lettuce, endive or radishes thrive. It is important to always ventilate appropriately.

Our premium cold frame therefore has a 4-way lockable lid with a lock against closing or overfolding. The integrated handle makes opening and closing even easier. The cold frame has been specially developed for use with our rhombus raised beds L, XL and XXL and can be easily connected to it. Matching mounting connectors for these raised beds are also included.

The natural larch wood is the most durable European softwood. It has its own ingredients against fungal and insect infestation. Nevertheless, we recommend a coat with a suitable wood care varnish to avoid natural greying of the wood.

Mega tip: The combination with a raised bed allows the harvest season to move forward at a pleasant working height. The raised beds Rhombus Larch L, Rhombus Larch XL and Rhombus Larch XXL are the right products for this.
